What are Community Web Services?

Note: For Community Owners only.

Community Web Services enable organizations to update their communities by adding and removing member assignments through API calls into the Community.

For Community Web Services operations, a Community API Key is needed, which can be found in the Community Configuration area:

Step 1

Click on the Setting gear icon

Step 2

Click <>

Step 3

To add the Community API Key to your clipboard, click Copy.

Community members are added or removed from communities by adding or removing their email addresses from the list of Community members.

If someone is removed from a Community, their content will stay as part of that Community. The content will be reassigned to them if they are added back into the Community.
